This is the official 4.4 release, while also raising the minimum Blender version requirement to 4.2 LTS now.
The Punch It tool now supports Cursor Space Punching in addition to the previous 3 extrusion direction choices: averaged face normal, individual vert normal, any edge direction.
When choosing to punch in cursor space, you can pick a secondary cursor axis, after the tool automatically invokes the most aligned cursor axis (most aligned with the averaged face normal).
The final automatic cleanup pass has been refined and will now remove redundant edges too, but only those within or bordering the newly created faces.
Furthermore, improvements have been made all over and various internals have been updated and modernized. The docs too.
As always see the changelog for a list of all changes.

Blender 3.6 - a new LTS release is releasing, and it finally allows for the complete removal of the legacy bgl
module.
Beyond the bgl removal, I've also added the option to Auto-Cleanup after the extrusion, which means you'll have to do it less frequently manually yourself.
Default Push and Pull values have been exposed to the addon preferences, so you'll have to adjust these less frequently in the op yourself too. In addition, you can also enable non-manifold mesh support in the addon prefs. Note however, that results can be unpredictable, so consider that experimental.
Finally there have been a few tweeks and adjustments to the the HUD and VIEW3D is drawn.
Together, these changes should providea much smoother user experience.
Checkout the changelog for a complete list of changes.

This is the initial PUNCHit release, featuring the negative manifold extrusion tool Punch It.
My outmost gratitude goes out to all my patreon supporters, who have put a lot of trust in me and have not only contributed to financing the development of PUNCHit, but have also eagerly tested and thereby improved the tool and addon.
Thank you so much! You are the best!
