How do I get product support?
See FAQ for details. Please see the Get Support section, then reach out via email.
INKit lets you annotate or paint on a 3D View in Blender from an iPad with Apple Pencil, or from an Android tablet with an active stylus.
Keep in mind
A tablet computer - iPad or Android - with a proper stylus is required.
A graphics tablet attached to the computer is not part of the initial 1.0 release, but support for it is planned for 1.1.
A capacitive stylus fakes finger input and does not emit pen events, and so will also not work.
Features
- annotate a 3D View from a tablet computer on the same Wi-Fi
- iPad with Apple Pencil, or Android with an active stylus
- capture and cycle through 3D views, each with its own view styles and notes
- stored images keep the notes in context, even when the model changes
- use the Pencil, Eraser, and Text tools on the tablet to annotate or paint
- duplicate canvases with or without their ink, to iterate on ideas and develop variations
- manage canvases visually through the Hyper Pencil tool in Blender
- connect several devices at the same time to a single Blender instance, with the ink synced across them
