Models with Trim detail

Exporting objects with trim detail, is just like exporting any other mesh object and can be done with Blender's native export tools.



The general assumption here is, you know where your trim sheet textures are on the hard drive, and so you can easily copy them to your engine of choice yourself.

If however you want to use DECALmachine to export a Trim Sheet's textures, and perhaps channel pack them, you can use the Atlas Export tools to do so:

  1. Add a single Trim Decal of the Sheet you want to export to your scene
  2. Make it use the Sheet as its Atlas
  3. Export the Trim Sheet Textures
